Maria D’Anselmi is a consultant in American Philanthropic’s donor services group, where she assists with strategic giving planning and assessment and helps donors document their charitable intent, identify organizations in line with that intent, evaluate grant applications and organizations, and manage giving programs. 

Before joining American Philanthropic, Maria served as a program officer for the Manhattan Institute’s Adam Smith Society, where she oversaw event programming for a portfolio of 14 chapters and project managed national events. Prior to her time at the Adam Smith Society, Maria worked as a teacher, writer, and theater director.

Maria graduated from the University of Dallas with a bachelor’s degree in English. In her free time, she reads and writes short fiction, and explores the boundless wonders of New York City, where she currently resides.
