Executive Director of the Institute for Faith & Freedom at Grove City College
Jeffrey S. Trimbath is a fundraiser, development coach, and mentor to non-profit organizations, large and small. His work has included major gift solicitation, managing fundraising teams, feasibility studies, development audits, fundraising training and coaching, campaign planning, donor strategy and execution, stewardship, planned giving development, non-profit management, and board training.
He is Executive Director of the Institute for Faith & Freedom at Grove City College. He previously served as Senior Advisor to the President at The Heritage Foundation, a broadly-supported public policy organization based in Washington DC. He served as a senior member of the foundation-wide team of development professionals who planned and conducted the highly successful $750 million “Reclaim America” campaign. In his eleven years at Heritage, he has served as a Major Gifts Officer, a Senior Major Gifts officer, Team Leader, Director of the Heritage Legacy Society, and Senior Advisor. Trimbath was awarded the prestigious John Von Kannon Fellowship in 2018.
Prior to coming to Heritage, Trimbath served at the Department of Health and Human Services (where he administered over $200 million in state and federal grants helping youth make positive decisions for their lives), and served as Executive Director of an education reform organization in his home state of Pennsylvania.

Trimbath has spoken and taught at conferences nationwide, including the ACCS Annual Training Conference, the World Congress of Families, the Heritage Foundation Resource Bank and Leadership Conference meetings, and the Leadership Institute.
In addition to his professional achievements, Trimbath is actively involved in his local church, where he regularly teaches adult Christian formation classes, and has served on the church’s governing body.
He holds a BA from Messiah College (Grantham PA) and an M.Div. from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (South Hamilton MA). He and his wife the former Jill Brensinger, have three children – Sarah Elizabeth (10th grade), Katherine Sophia (8th grade), and James Joseph (6th grade) – and make their home in Lancaster County, PA.
