Kristen Hermes

As a Capital Campaigns Consultant at AmPhil, Kristen helps clients prepare for and execute successful major fundraising efforts. Her specialty is project management, ensuring key campaign milestones are met with ease by the organizations she serves.

Before coming to AmPhil, Kristen worked as a Press Assistant in Washington, D.C. for a U.S. Senator, a District Field Director for the Congressional Leadership Fund, and a Legislative Affairs Fellow for a former governor of Illinois. In these positions, she gained experience in targeted messaging and writing, personnel management, office organization, and media relations.

Kristen graduated from Wheaton College in Illinois with a bachelor’s degree in political science and lives in northwest Illinois with family. In her free time, she likes to lift weights, which nicely balances out her love for cooking and baking.
