Joe Garecht

DIRECTOR

Joe Garecht has over twenty years of experience in fundraising and non-profit management.  He specializes in helping non-profit organizations build dynamic fundraising strategies and systemize their development programs. Joe brings a unique entrepreneurial approach to fundraising that has allowed clients to achieve significant revenue growth while maximizing return on investment. Previously, Joe was the founder of Garecht Fundraising Associates, where he worked with hundreds of non-profits to help them maximize their fundraising results. Prior to that, he founded The Fundraising Authority, where he led a team that offered fundraising training programs to over 50,000 non-profit fundraisers all over the world.
 
Over the past twenty years, Joe has also held leadership roles with a number of non-profit organizations. He served as the Executive Director of Philanthropy for the Jack Miller Center, the Executive Director of BLOCS: Business Leadership Organized for Catholic Schools, and the Development Director for The Philadelphia Children’s Alliance.  Joe also has extensive experience running fundraising programs for political campaigns and committees.  He is the author of several books on fundraising, including How to Raise More Money for Any Non-Profit, and has spoken at seminars and conferences all over the US.
 
Joe studied at DeSales University and is a graduate of Rutgers University. He resides in the Philadelphia area with his wife and four children.
