To do this, we offer strategic planning and assessment services, as well as a variety of services related to grantmaking and fundraising including development training, messaging and branding assistance, creation of donor-oriented materials and solicitations, donor prospect research, and direct mail program management, among others. The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing high-level administrative support to assigned executive(s). The Executive Assistant must be able to exercise professional judgment and confidentiality to complete the day-to-day tasks necessary to facilitate the duties required. This position is based out of the Phoenix office and is expected to work at least four days a week. 

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: 

  • Provide excellent support in all areas to assigned executive(s); type of support can vary based on executive’s needs and role; 
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments; 
  • Arrange travel, including full travel itineraries (i.e. airline, lodging, dining, ground transportation); 
  • Independently compose presentations and correspondence; 
  • Undertake special research projects; 
  • Assist with proofreading and copy editing; 
  • Coordinate information flow and interoffice communication, record-keepingetc.; 
  • Work independently or within a designated group on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects as assigned; 
  • Interact in a professional and pleasing manner with clients, vendors, colleagues, and others;  
  • Assist other senior-level executives and managing consultants, as requested; 
  • Compose and type various styles of documents; 
  • Maintain calendars for assigned executive(s) and others, as required; 
  • Provide high-level support, including typing, dictation, composing and proofreading correspondence, indexing, and filing; 
  • Maintain inventory of office supplies, business forms and letterhead and maintenance of equipment; 
  • Maintain strict confidentiality; and, 
  • Other duties as assigned.


The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years administrative experience. This position requires excellent project management skillsstrong attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a personality who thrives in supporting others. An exceptional candidate will demonstrate:
