Group hopes to redistribute foundation wealth based on racial quotas
Mar 3, 2009

The National Committee for Responsive Philanthropy (NCRP) is releasing its report today on "benchmarks to assess foundation performance." Its real aim, as reported by Naomi Schaefer Riley in today’s Wall Street Journal, “is to push philanthropic organizations into ignoring donor intent and instead giving grants based on political considerations.” Schaefer Riley writes: “The committee is part of a rising tide of politicians and activists who are working to change the face of American philanthropy -- and not for the better.” Her article may be read at the following link.
