  Communications Specialist Ann Henderson Hart has spent more than twenty years as an editor, publications manager, and development officer in both the public and private sectors. She is managing editor of Orbis: A Journal of World Affairs, the flagship journal of the Foreign Policy Research Institute, and works frequently on editorial and consulting assignments for various publishers, including Oxford University Press and Yale University Press. Ann has held management positions as publications manager for Westminster Seminary California, creative manager of the JoS. A. Bank catalog in Baltimore, and editor of the corporate magazine for State Street Bank in Boston. Her work as director of development for City Center Academy in Philadelphia offered many opportunities to tell this school’s story in print. Ann has a deep interest in philanthropy, fundraising, and best practices for nonprofits. She has served as a program associate at The John Templeton Foundation and The Pew Charitable Trusts, and she has helped implement successful initiatives to raise more than $3 million for several nonprofits. Ann obtained her B.A. in English literature at Wheaton College (IL) and a master’s degree in journalism from Temple University. |
