Our AmP Literary division provides professional foreign- and subsidiary-rights advice, representation, and management, as well as premium literary representation for selected authors.
Foreign and Subsidiary Rights Representation AmP Literary specializes in representing independent publishers, especially presses whose missions align with American Philanthropic’s mission of strengthening civil society. Drawing on decades of experience in working with foreign publishers large and small, we aggressively seek to sell the full range of foreign and subsidiary rights for our clients’ titles. We welcome inquiries from American and foreign publishers interested in learning more about our rights representation services. Literary Representation AmP Literary provides premium literary representation for selected authors, working with them to develop projects, shape and edit manuscripts and proposals, and attain the platform necessary to find a significant readership. Before cofounding AmP Literary with former ISI Books executive publisher Jeffrey Cain, Jeremy Beer was editor in chief at ISI Books. During his tenure, he added to the ISI Books list a number of best-selling and award-winning authors, including Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, John Lukacs, Roger Scruton, Robert H. Bork, Bill Kauffman, Robert P. George, Peter Augustine Lawler, Roger Kimball, Pierre Manent, Anthony Esolen, Joseph Pearce, Chantal Delsol, David Novak, Elizabeth Fox-Genovese, and D. G. Hart. AmP Literary particularly seeks to represent serious nonfiction, including history, biography, social and cultural criticism, theology and religion, political thought, and works in the American regionalist and nature-writing traditions. Projects that challenge prevailing academic and political orthodoxies are welcomed. Why Selling Books to Publishers Is Hard The Solution Agency Services |
